 Who: The Goat
When: 5th August
Where: SC

The Goat has heard that both Adebayor and Soldado have cleared out their lockers. Also that both departures are expected by the weekend but the club want it done sooner rather than later.

We are hoping to bring Werner to watch the United game on Saturday and this on Berahino (from two sources), firstly, that he's been to the training ground and also that we could have him signed by Saturday.

Who: The Goat
When: 5th August
Where: SC

The Goat hears that Berahino and his 'people' are happy for him to move to Spurs. Having said that, his club are waiting to see if earlier interest from either Manchester club is followed up on. The Goat's source however, thinks there is a deadline, put in place by Spurs and his agent as both want to see this resolved and him settled, sooner rather than later.

Based on other information received, The Goat thinks this is something that once triggered, will resolve VERY quickly as some of the usual formalities have already been completed.

Ikke vores egen ITK, men kan kaste lidt lys over sagen med adebayor.

 Not sure if this has been posted whored this from a Villa ITK;

This has nothing to do with Levy, they've wanted rid for ages, the issue here is Adebayor, he wants guarantees that we will give him a deal after his loan, think this has been a sticking point for Fox and co, who are rightly not budging on it.

Responding to a question about the signings he thought we'd make last week...

Yes I said minimum 2, 3 max. That is the dangers of calling certain things. That was said with total conviction that was coming from certain quarters within. The players in question we know by now. Third is possible new name is what I heard. cannot go on much longer, and believe it is the selling clubs we are waiting on as all agreements Te in place.

Few bits.

Still looking for 3 in. Forward targets are unchanged and I'm told "are likely". CM, still pursuing the Germans, and I have been given another name who was not originally considered as it was thought it would be too difficult. His agent thinks it is doable and has been in contact with the club. Still believe we will be trying for the Germans first, but would be more than happy with the alternative should that be the way we end up going.

Still looking to move players on and we could still see as many as 4 non first teamers leave permanently. Ade's people are still in discussions with Villa, and it will all come down to how much he wants to play as atm he is being incredibly awkward. He knows should he not move he will be frozen out. There has been interest in a couple of our "not for sale players" which as yet has been given short shrift by levy.

I know people are frustrated by the lack of anything visible happening, but this really is a case of nothing has really changed as far as targets and likely exits are concerned, and imo is very much the case of no news is good news.

We have not given up on Berahino and go in with another offer, the Fazio situation is seperate and it's basically down to him, a couple of Spanish clubs have also shown interest.

There are apparently 2 back ups to Berahino one of which has not been mentioned on here. As far as the dm/cm is concerned I've been told the Germans are now very unlikely but we have had extensive talks with Illarremendi and one other, any deals are expected to be late although the club would like them finalised before the Everton game.

As far as outgoings are concerned Adebayor, is proving really difficult basically no EPL club want him so abroad is fast becoming his/our only option. Lennon interest has also dropped and we will have to drop price if were are to get rid of. Fazio will be easier and should get done by early next week.

Am also told that WBA had always planned to hold SB up for as long as possible regardless of the money offered. They do not want to give the wrong impression by selling the best prospect the club have had in decades at the drop of a hat.

Southampton have just slammed the door in our face yet again. We have now dropped all interest in Wanyama. Saints are willing to sell but not to a premier league rival. If he moves, he moves abroad, and that's it.

Leaves plenty of time to get the Witsel deal done. As on SSN we have made a bid for the player, which from what I've just heard will be accepted. It's just a case of then agreeing terms with the player and getting him signed.

On a side note, we are not interested in Charlie Austin.

Who: Grey Fox

When: 3:15pm

Wanyama is not happening, Adebayor and Lennon almost certainly won't be going to the hammers they want them at cheap rates on loans Levy won't deal, Looks like Villa our only hope of off loading.

Was told that Son won't be last in as I've said before one more bid will go in for Beriniho and CM still on.

Two things to remember one is that signings like Son and any others that we might bring in are not done that quickly without a lot of homework and behind the scenes work been done. Secondly the international break does complicate things sometimes so expect most deals in and outside to be sorted by end of day but possible announcements tomorrow.

Last update from me today. Club still think Berahino can be done no news on Witzel, my feeling is he would be in country by now if it were to happen.

Adebayor will only happen to Wet Spam if he agrees to forgo his last year contract. Let's see how interested in playing. Lennon wants Everton but not sure the feeling is reprocated. Fazio seems to have blown his chances of a move. Some loans may get done to lower league clubs after deadline

So in short still think Berahino will get done and any dm/cm will be a loan.

I would say it's a pity he has said it but backs up all I was told, and that is that he was promised he could leave for spurs by Pulis as long as the chairman let him bring in Lambert and a.n.other that happened and all the co factual shit and terms were agreed between spurs and Berahino many many weeks ago. This £5m is bollocks,

It was closer to £9m and peace was sticking on £17m upfront. That's a massive sum for an up front fee, almost £4m more than we put up for Soldado (a proven CL scorer)

I don't know why Peace has gone against all at his club that said let him go, I can only imagine Levy or Spurs have pissed him off but I can't think of anything.

Berahino comes from a massively underprivileged background and even lived in an immigrants detention centre in south London when he first arrived in the UK. Pulis has tucked him under his wing and looked after him. Saido is gutted that he has been let down. Pulis is "apparently" not happy that he didn't get his move, he already has his replacements in place.

I am distraught that Levy has fucked up the window by not having a plan B and also in failing to make other key signings that we have all been crying out for, but I can't blame  him for this mess up.

FWIW I had £200 on him at 16/1 so I am happy to have believed all I was told.

Sky sports also now seem to be running the line that Pulis was happy, Spurs were happy and so was the player.  The difference between £9 and £17 is large but Levy would have probably gone to about £11. It was pointless keep going as £17 was ridiculous.

That's about all I can garner from my source.

No idea at this point where this leaves the player but he has j believe 2 years left on his current contract

I've been told this morning that we will be doing everything in our power to make sure we sign him. MP feels it's crucial that he is a part of our team going forward.

Providing WBA will allow the deal to happen, and that he actually still want's to join us then he may well be our newest signing. There will of course be lots of competition for his signature, but we will be acting early to give us every shot at landing him.

Nægter at tro at SB koster under £15 mill.

Another smallish update...........

Big Sam really wants to take Andros, and has lodged the most solid interest for him so far although others are sniffing. Told re the Striker situation... We know we are in need of a striker now but it is important we feel whoever we bring in January can hit the ground running, that means someone with experience of English football Dembele is being looked at.

Oh and Berahino is definitely still target if a deal can be worked out, MP does still want him!

My guy is very confident of this happening because everything is pretty much in place, but then he(along with everyone else) thought it was done on deadline day as well. All about Peace now and how stupid and stubborn he will be. Doing this on my phone so excuse spelling mistakes (edited - Rob). I've been told that a very good bid has been lodged for SB, the 12m mentioned is way off.

We have 3 others that we have begun talks with. One is Dembele, the other 2 are foreign. Poch only wants permanent signings, not loans or any one over 27. We are building for the future.

Townsend will go for our price and does not affect incoming.

Told this morning this has been very complicated, but we expect to get this over the line very soon now. We need to get players out who don't want to leave. OM need to get players in but are potless. We don't want to let Clint go, but we do want GKN in so the balancing act on this deal has been incredibly difficult. There are so many clauses and stipulations due to trying to appease everyone involved, it has made this deal incredibly difficult. On the plus side he is in good shape, and hasn't just been sat on his arse for the last month Wink Will need time with the team but his general fitness is not a concern. As for Clint, my mate thinks it's only a loan but says that is not something he has heard diffinitively. We are trying hard to get others out and if we do there is a possobility to get another in, but as things stand it is looking very unlikely.
Go rep him in the GKN thread.

Sorry about the belated post, but I have been bombing up and down the motorways for the last few days and had little time to get on here. I had a long chat with my man after the game on Saturday and although he was reluctant with some detail he gave me a lot of background stuff so here goes.

The Goat's bleat was correct about Bentaleb and although he has been trying hard in training he has been doing it with attitude any thing over 12 m and he will be gone, with at least 3 clubs showing serious interest. The same goes for Mason, Poch loves him, but if the right bid came in he would be allowed to leave if he wanted to. Tom Carrol is also on that list, but again Poch likes him as a person and around the squad, but he has been told his playing time will be limited. Yedlin is in the North East talking to both Sunderland and Newcastle. Chadli wants to stay, but also been told he may be warming the bench a lot this season. Its 50/50 if he goes. Poch has a tough week ahead because he likes most of the above players, but he is willing to make hard decisions for the betterment of the team/club. Eriksen will sign a new contract, but my man thinks he will be gone by this time next year.

N'Kandou should be with us before the Liverpool game and as I have said before the delay has been caused because of the change at the top at Marseille and their attempt to change payment structures. Poch still wants another AM and he has someone "special" in mind. to quote my source "it wont be Pogbaesque , but will surprise people" The Spanish GK also still on the cards.

There have been enquiries from at least two potential buyers of the club, but we are a long way from selling. Naming rights are a lot further down the road and an announcement could be made within the next 12 months. Levy and co have been busy lining up various new sponsorship deals and advertising for when we move into the new ground. In short he is short listing major companies for like for like exclusive deals e.g. Coke v Pepsi, Fed Ex v UPS, basically the highest bidder will get the gig.

Due to the amount of info this will probably be my last ITK this window unless I hear something special that can go in here. Yesterday at 10:54 AM
